C. Tolpo Portrait Artist: Carolyn Tolpo Smith (1948 - ) - Carolyn Tolpo Smith works C. Tolpo production studios from Hawaii to Florida. She enjoys being a grandmother and hails from a family of Tolpo artists making fine art & crafts from studio/gallerys in Colorado, Arizona and Illinois.
 - As a student she received National Scholastic Gold Key Visual Arts Award and, by 1966, participated as a four-star Thespian, England/USA poetry exchange student and Illinois All-State musician (violin). She received her BFA degree from University of Hawaii and, in 1971, was awarded Drawings/USA Purchase Award. In education, she participated in the New York Artist-in-Schools Program for Elementary Schools and was listed in 1996-2002 Artists in Hawaii Guide. From 1998-2008 she authored, The Artpart, newspaper and online commentary about art and life connections.
